British Comedy Guide

Hello, we're Bishop and Douch

Hey,

We're Bishop and Douch. We've been working together since early 2007 and in that time have created an online sitcom at http://www.myspace.com/bishopanddouch and performed live around the UK, New York and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Our videos are mainly about the two of us but often feature cameo's from more established performers. So far these have included Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh), Sean Lock, Kristen Schaal (Flight of The Conchords), Ewen Macintosh (The Office), Kurt Braunohler and John Mulaney.

We have a couple of gigs coming up soon. The first is on the 9th November with our buddy from New York, Dave Hill at the Hen & Chickens theatre and we're also performing with Pappy's Fun Club at Falling Down With Laughter on the 11th November.

Some of our favourite programmes (to name just a few) include - Mr. Show, Larry Sanders, It's Garry Shandling Show, Adam and Joe, Arrested Development, Flight of the Conchords, Brass Eye, Family Guy and South Park.

Glad to be a part of the site.

Your pals,
Bishop and Douch

Hello there. :)

Ooh, nice cameos!

Hello there. Unfortunate second name Douch. I can say that because my second name is Stott; which is quite clearly rubbish.

Need I refer you to The Stotts, again?

In what way do a pair of high pitched freaks make me feel better about my surname?! :D

Yeah, you shold think yourself lucky, Stott. Angry

I liked Owl!

They are played by VIC and BOB.
Is that not enough?

Isn't yours Brown? Thats quite cool, and sounds nice. Though of course there is the inevitable shit association. The moment you introduce yourself to people, they're all thinking of doodies. Every single one.

Cheers...that was just something we put together for the Myspace Trident contenst.

And yeah, it can often be annoying to have a name that looks so much like 'Douche' but I don't really mind it.

Cool? Nice? Hah!

Introduce myself? HAH!

People? DOUBLE HAH!

I hate it.

Is it pronounced like 'ouch'?

Yep.

I can tell you're manfully covering a world of pain there Mr Douch; you're amongst friends here; if you want to cry you go right ahead.

Cool? Nice? Hah!

It is the same colour as chocolate. And fruit cake. And newly dug potatoes...? Errr
And. Um.
Tree bark!

All nice things.
