What are you drinking? Page 17

Yes. Wormwood is a psychoactive agent, so that's why people say they hallucinate on it. Although I never have, but I'm sure David Bussell once told me it sent him blind.

Blind? That is scary.

He got better.

Evidently. But stiil f**king scary.

Are you going to drink anything else tonight, Aaron?

Personally, I'm going to have some hot lemon-barley squash as I've got a sore throat.

I'm sure I'll have something at some point.

(I have a sore throat too.)

HAHA! No one will ever know will they?! Just us!

The thujone in Absinthe is so low in ratio to the alcohol, you'd die of alcohol poison long before you got high.

Absinthe is one of the most revolting drinks known to man.

You're way better off with rectified spirit, which is as strong but is tasteless.

Everclear's about the most famous one, but not sure if it's available in the UK.

Or Ray and Nephews rum is a corker.

Yes, but there's a bit of theatre in drinking absinthe, isn't there? I can't remember the details, but I think you have to pour some on a passing dog, then set it alight and breathe in the fumes. Something like that. You can't do that with Ray and Nephew's.

Plain old water.

Coke - v. boring

Plain old water.

Yep, or plain old water. In fact, there's no way you can set that alight.

There is NOTHING boring in the slightest about Coke. Angry

Good. I was just pre-empting a backlash from the alcoholics!
