I already told Elliot this, and I know I did, so I don't need a comment about it again from him (
) - but our History teacher told us something from the sheet today which made us laugh for about half an hour more of the lesson. Mr Smith told us that the British needed to keep Zanzibar because of the palm oil trade. They needed palm oil for lubricating their machinery, and had to hold on tight in case Germany penetrated.
