What are you drinking? Page 14

I'm drinking some Sauvignon Blanc. I'm more a fan of red wine, but I like the fact that you can chill white wine and keep it for several days.

People say you can chill red wine, but I've tried that and it does indeed degrade.

Crap, it's too late to head downtown for the Oktoberfest festivities. Next week for sure.

Kopparberg. Yummie.

Kopparberg. Yummie.

Is cider an acceptable/popular drink for a man in the UK? It's still somewhat unknown here, but the only people I've seen drinking it are young women. It'd be similar to a man ordering a daiquiri or a fruity wine cooler - I think your manliness might be questioned.

Raspberry and apple juice!

It is tart. (in the manner of scientist Kevin Eldon.)

Oooh very tart!

Cider is manly enough (and if we are talking scrumpy it is downright macho), but Kopparberg is perry, which does has have an image problem - mention perry and people are likely to think of Babycham...

Apple scrumpy reminds me of Quadrophenia and Babycham reminds me of that guy who was boinking Kate Moss. I don't think I realized it was an actual drink until a year or two ago.

May I please ask why?

May I please ask why?

The lyrics from '5:15'

On a raft in the quarry
Slowly sinking.
On the back of a lorry
Holy hitching.
Dreadfully sorry
Apple scrumping.
Born in the war
Birthday punching.

Heh! I'd forgotten about that. I love that song.

I love that song.

As do I. I especially miss Entwistle's bass solo.
