Never Mind The Buzzcocks 2008

Memo to Simon Amstell: You've gone from looking a little quirky, to a complete dick.

Other than that, a pretty good opening episode. Ronson did very well, the little Bailey-lament number was ace, and there is no possible negative with having more Tim Minchin on TV. And a good showing from Ralf Little as well.

Approve.

And that is where is should have stayed.

At first I was shocked and appalled. But I ended up kind of liking the hair.

Ronson was good! I liked his weirdo glasses. And the hating Duffy stuff was funny.

I don't think Ralf was altogether impressed with Simon's jokes.

It was a fantastic haircut... me, Curt Smith of Tears for Fears and now Amstell...

Ralph Little declaring that he thinks '2 Pints of Lager...' is shit, has made my day. I've gone back to liking him again now.

Damnit! I forgot this was on.

They say fashion comes in cycles....

How come we've returned to 1982 so quickly?

I thought Mark Ronson was a knob before this but he seems alright now. And I really like Ralf Little, despite not liking anything he's ever appeared in.

Simon's and Phill's dance bit was hilarious. My favourite bit has to be:

Ralf: "My mum rang back and just said: good review son, good review"

Simon: "Yeah, she doesn't get to say that often"

I was absolutely creasing myself after that.

Yeah it had its moments and Simon was as sharp as ever, though the pace seemed a bit slower than usual. As for Simon's haircut...Why? At first I was horrified but then he turned to his left and from the side profile it looked OK, but then he turned to the camera again and I was horrified once more. Why do it to yourself Simon?

*Owns up to roughly the same hairstyle at roughly the same time*

I liked the dance.

I also liked the bit with the thread on Simon's shirt.
You can't write that kind of shit...

(it was funny though.)

Why do it to yourself Simon?

Because being one of those "trendy", tight skinny jean wearing, Topman shopping, NME reading, indie freaks..... is going to impress Mark Ronson.

Ooh. That would be a hot couple. :)

"Should I leave it on for continuity?" lol
