I think we'd all like to see a competition based on talent rather than popularity, but then the organisers would have no stake in things. All they're interested in is advertising, which equates to getting as many people to the site as possible. 15 comedians/comedy groups voting on each other's videos isn't going to sell much gum.

Mmm.. I'm happy to have a comp based on popularity rather than so-called "talent" as how do you define talent anyway, but the votes I'm interested in are the ones by MySpacer's who AREN'T us and our pals. I know our pals will vote for you/us, but that's pals, they do that. I want votes from those who aren't our pals! If you get my point!

We're all up for expanding out audiences I'm sure, but I doubt the page attracts many casual MySpacers. I've been in a number of these comps and it's all about plugging to your mates sadly.

Oh right, the one on my site is fine. The MySpace one had a really grotty compression, popping all over the audio and was presented in the wrong dimensions. Also, the MySpace logo all but covered the Eiffel Tower at the end, thereby rendering the punch null and void. Not to complain though, they've switched it another video now and all is right in the world again.
