I have to say I totally agree with this and found the goldfish story equally unsettling and sad. And I would call myself an animal lover. I've always had pets and made sure they are treated very well and have saved injured and abandoned animals, but - when it comes to spending time and money on anything altruistic - my efforts would go to humans first.

I've just been told a story from one of today's papers, about how some teenagers were egging on a suicidal lad, to jump off a building. When he did it, they ran over to his body and started filming it on their phones. Makes you think, doesn't it?

I wonder if there are any documented cases of somebody being on a fire, and somebody pissing on them to put them out? I imagine it would be difficult to urinate in such a stressful situation.

It helps with jelly fish stings according to Friends. Not my friends you understand. I've had crabs at Cromer but not jelly fish.
