There's a second The Thick Of It special on next month (BBC4 -- 3rd July) which follows on where the last one left off (PM resigning). Funnily enough, it's on about a week after the PM resigns

Cool, thanks Dan. I liked the last special and thought the tory bits were great. Hopefully they will get rid of that other Scottish guy who ruined most of the scenes in the last special (I don't mean Capaldi). It just shows how good the writers and cast are that they can survive without Chris Langham whos currently filming Children Like Us at the moment. I think this show has come the closest to equalling the brilliance that is Curb and on occassions even out shines it.

Curb is fantastic, but I find almost all the characters too infuriating (apart from Larry) to watch for too long.
I'm so glad there's a new special, and I hope Langham can come back soon.

Chris had the decency to ring me up about fifteen years ago after I approached talkback about something or other. That always impressed me. Personally, I like all his work. I can't say anything about his problems, because I don't know enough, but I can't believe a word of what he has been accused of.
He phoned me fifteen years ago aswell, I was 7.
