We might as well all give up...

What is truly sickening is that it'll probably get made on the strength of her *fame* alone.

That is unfair. I'm led to believe that she posts on BSG under the name 'sootyj.'

She endorses Final Draft, so she's fine by me!

Although books get published on the basis of somebody's fame, I don't think many films get made on the basis of how well known the screenwriter is. So it's a long way between writing a script and getting it made, no matter who you are.

I am, but not today. Seeing that roadkill earlier's really shook me up.

It's because she has the blind confidence of someone so thick that they don't know that they are.

It'll get made. Why not? At least it may stop her "singing" for awhile..

Maybe she will sing and dance in it herself?

Let's hope it's a silent movie.

I come back to my original point: name a flm in which the screenplay was written by a famous person not already known for writing?

Johnathon Ross' wife co-wrote that Stardust; is she a writer? I seem to remember she put together an x-files book a while back, of real life weird stuff, but that doesn't really count. Shes not exactly famous though.

There was this one.
