Those details don't work. Are you absolutely sure about the security number?

Of course I'm sure, and so should you be. After all, it's your card that I lifted from your wallet on our last meeting!

Def.

DrVole, it sounds more like a sitcom idea, rather than a sketch show.

How can it possibly be a sketch show?

I was interested until I heard the words "Comedy Lab."
Surely you KNOW only the crappiest unfunniest projects get commissioned from there.

Oh... and... comedy chancers???
Chancers?
Er.... most of us are professional writers, working on various projects, not bedroom hacks.

Hey, I've got something being pitched as a comedy lab! So if it gets made; yes. Only the very crappest.

I'm a bedroom hack, but it has nothing to do with writing.

We're not professional until we get something on telly!

You're professional if you get paid for it.

Yep, that barrel's been well and truly scraped.

Yeh - that's us! (cue Laurie Johnson)

I agree, its just a very shit living in some cases. One that might need a second, main job.

Pass me that barrel again...

Also, to be fair, no-one could really describe my writing as "professional".

Sorry if I offended anyone, but the general consensus, especially in the BSG forums is that six pilots are presented and it seems to be the unlikeliest, most unfunny ones who get commissioned as a series.
Not my words. I've simply read everyones views on the commissioned ones.

Matthew, I wish you luck with your project. Let's hope it gets through and changes the concensus.

Why all jump on me?
The offending word was chancers.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, Mikey J (bows in deference). As I said, I am but a tiny rodent what knows nothing and is new here. What if I said you were a joker - would that make you feel better?

It's more of a sketch show because it's a show with lots of sketches in rather than a overarching plot.

Sorry the words Comedy Lab put you off - I was so looking forward to input from professional writers like yourself.

You could sell a pityfully small amount, then get working tax credits to top you up to about the amount you'd get on the dole. But you could be considered a professional writer.

Hi again, DrVole.

Are you related to Dr Fox? :P

And lol @ joker. Ok, fair enough, point taken. :)

OK, so it's a sketch show, but do all the sketches need to be about the same guy and his scenerio?
