Honestly I *have* seen films! I don't know what's going on tonight... :|

Compared to me, you've seen everything. Don't worry. :)

Understood Sah!! (intentional). *salutes sharply*

Good boy, good boy. :)

I sense mockery. Should I better go?

Your English goes to pot when you're pissed!

Quote: Nil Putters @ September 28 2008, 1:41 AM BST

I would love too, and I am severely tempted. But although I, probably could, raise the cash somehow, I useless around women. Seriously. You wouldn't get a work out of me all night. Unless that's what you want.
;) Cool

You can't be more useless than I, and I managed to attend the last one!

Quote: Finck @ September 28 2008, 1:51 AM BST

I promise to wear a hat if you come. :)

As a kind of splash guard?

Quote: Nil Putters @ September 28 2008, 2:47 AM BST

Yeah, I always say I should, but as soon as I can get it again, I do. I don't have much else going on sadly, so it's something to do more than anything.

Can you not masturbate furiously?

Quote: DaButt @ September 28 2008, 3:30 AM BST

I'm glad I convinced the boss that we needed a huge LCD television on the wall in my office.

Brilliant. :D

It's great - the one with Rose's dad is a highlight.

With the church and that...?

I wouldn't write that sentence any different now. For I have no idea how to correct it. Help me. :)

"I sense mockery, should I go?"

I think.

*Awaits inevitable correction from Aaron*

I thought 'I sense mockery' was incorrect, too.

An I kind of fused 'Should I go?' and 'I better go'.

"Should I go?"

or

"Had I better go?"

Because in this case, "better" essentially means "should". So you said the same thing twice.

Thank you, Aaron! :)

All sounded fine to me.

More than I do already? Probably not.

Quote: Gavin @ September 28 2008, 11:07 AM BST

All sounded fine to me.

:) I got the meaning too.

Yeah, which is an even greater indicator that it was incorrect. :P

We all understood it. It just wasn't particularly good English.

And I'm glad you repaired it. :)

Prezunctly. If and when I make mistakes, I prefer to be told, so that I can learn from it.

I prefer people keep their sticky beaks outta my business. But each to their own ;)

:)

*changes subject*

How do I get a smiley to show up as a smiley in Word? I'm emailing someone something, which they need in the Word format, but there are a lot of emoticons throughout the text, and they're not showing up. Do I need to save it as a particular style or something? I thought saving it as a webpage would do it but it's not working. Or is it to do with the paste function?

Do you mean smilie images, or the little text icons that it normally turns : ) (without the space) into?

The latter.
