That Aaron has either never heard of him, or at least never seen one of his films.
Paul Newman dies. Page 2
Aaron, The Sting is a must, at least.
Oh, I thought he was laughing at his death or something.
Quote: Nil Putters @ September 27 2008, 4:34 PM BSTNice Cat On A Hot Tin Roof montage although I could do without the music. For zooo.
Thanks Mr. Nil. Love that film.
They took most of the gay subtext out of the film version, but Paul wanted to keep it in.
Which is pretty cool for a guy in the '50s.
Paul Newman is a University Lecturer in Engineering Science in the Department of Engineering Science, Oxford. He runs the Mobile Robotics Group at the Oxford University Robotics Research Group.
Research interests are focused on autonomous navigation of mobile platforms - indoors, outdoors and subsea.
This is devestating news for the robotics industry.
Oh, its the actor bloke. Sorry,
Maybe we could swap them and get rid of your one?
That is a stiff challenge but its worth a try.
Hopefully, no pun intended.
Hopefully it was.
(And knowing Nigel, it almost certainly was.)

What's it abouttttttt?
Nah man, his best movie is still Cool Hand Luke Aaron. Watch it I'm sure you'll like it.
Slap Shot is my second favorite, but I don't think you'd like that one it's very 'Northern' North American comedy.
I think you can also blame it for being the prelude to the millions of comedy sports movies to later come out.
The Paul Newman brand of organic dog treats are a firm favourite with my dog. Especially the peanut butter flavoured ones.
Quote: Curt @ September 27 2008, 4:36 PM BSTSLAP SHOT! I can't believe I almost forgot that movie! It's hilarious!
Terrific film
Surprised no-one has mentioned Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean is another favourite of mine.
He wasn't in Bullet though.
You know I never saw Butch Cassidy. One of those films everyone talks about so much you figure you know the movie without seeing it.
Thanks man, I think I'll rent that this week if I have time.
