I find the cross gender Avatar thing very confusing. Particularly when the avatars are as camp as zooo's last David Tennant photo. For months I took her to be a promiscuous male homosexual.
And it worries the hell out of me that I fancy David Chapman.

To be honest, if a male poster has a man in his avatar, I assume he fancies him.
And vice versa.
So me having a man in my avatar makes perfect sense to me.
