What are you watching on TV? Page 370

Oh yes, I have that too don't I.

Lemon has a new quiz show called Celebrity Juice (I just got the title!) with celebs on it. It was sort of about showbiz. Fearne Cotton and Holly Willobooby were the team captains. It sounds awful but it was alright.

Withnail and I is about 2 drunk studenty types who... do stuff. It's okay, but other people like it much more than I do. It does have some great lines, but I definitely don't think you'd like it, Aaron.

Thank you. I have set a reminder for it and will watch on its repeat. :)

No, it doesn't sound like I would enjoy the film. I abhor "drunk studenty types".

They're sort of eccentric students, rather than thicko louts. Plus they were probably about 30 when they filmed it.
But still.

It does have the fat chef from Pie In The Sky trying to f**k the 8th Doctor Who though. So it's not all bad.

*steps away slowly*

What could possibly be wrong with that...

Wait - who was the 8th Doctor?

Paul McGann. :)

He was pretttttty in the 80s.

Is this actually 'pretty', or just 'pretty' in comparison to everyone else in the 1980s?

That's a very good point.
Certainly anyone standing next to Richard E Grant in that film is going to look good.

He was cute though.

I'm going to have to take your word for it on this one, I think. :-/

Withnail & I has to be the most overrated film ever!!

Even more than Shrek?

Very nice hair he had.

I must have watched Withnail & I at least 50 times.

I bought the W&I DVD for 2.99 on Monday. I also got Arthur for 3 quid. :D

I'm on my way to that number. :)

But I always have to watch it alone, as noone in my vicinity likes it.
