group effort

i was thinking.... i no bad idead but anyway im getting the feeling that some excel at different things. im good at ideas and begingings but im a bit dismal at strucutring (its the way my brain works). so why dont we produce something as a group, then if we do a little bit each then surley it will be good. wont it ?

so if your interested the say so more the merrier as we can group peep to do certain parts you coudld even be invloved in an supportive role

could we try and see it it works

please...

fisrt things first we need a theme ideas

so peep spills your brain across the screen and see what happens

Dunno Why I bother ;)

Yeah Smith. We've already started work on one.

Why don't you see whoelse may be interested and start another one?

What did you have in mind smith, i only do stand up, and i know Ajp and Paul do and maybe a fewe others maybe some sort of stand up? i think doing a sit-com would be pointless as there is already one going on here and there is also a few sketch projects, so some sort of stand up project wouldn't be out of place, maybe your not interested in stand-up and if so no problems just ignore me, act like i never wrote, like i didn't exsist, o.k.

Ooooh a stand up project. How cool would that be.

Very cool i deedio, i know of Me, Ajp, Paul and of course you Charley, along with a few others i'm sure, obviously we would have to work a lot out and find where we would hope to end up with it i.e what are we aiming for and to do, but with a lot of the sit-com writers working on the sit-com project and a lot of the sketch people working on sketch projects a stand up one would be great. I should get drunkish more often then i wouldn't talk so much poo al te time

Its an interesting idea Lewis but i'm not too sure how it would work. Maybe we could work on routines to sell or donate to other people. Anyway whatever the idea is i'll contribute.

Yeah i'm up for it, as i said i'm not sure what we would hope to acheive, i had the same thoughts on the whole selling them or donating them, maybe we could work on routines of different lengths like some short ones no longer than 3 mins then 5 mins then 10 etc. maybe we could contact a stand-up and work with him/her with him eventually perfoming one of the routines, or even performing it ourselves. back to the beer.

Or there could be a whole set with everybody performing & sell it to clubs as an evenings entertainment. Several million squids a piece.

Bobs your real dad not your uncle.

Sounds like a plan I will give any time I can to contributing sounds groovy

I highly doubt it...

I think this idea will take off, i can see us getting a lot of people on the project we need a plan and something to aim at, i.e why are we doing it?, what will we get out of it?, but i would love to do something like this.

Oh sounds fun.

I think the best idea is to group it in writing styles. That way can bounces ideas better. Couldn't imagine Billy Connely Doing Eddie Izzard style jokes for example.

I think intially it'd be wise to find who is genuinely interested in seeing it through to the end then find what the group want to do from there. But it's all good practice working with other people, ok not entirely true of real world but people do have opinions and learning to comprimise is always a good lesson :D any way that's me.

Like I said I'd be interested but I have got loads on at the minute, with the Sitcom Project and My own Animated Pilot but I do love standup and would like to contribute or help out in any way possible.
