No, and quite right too.
Doctor Who... Page 226
Quote: hotzappa11 @ September 22 2008, 10:47 PM BSTAfter reading the latest DWM it says Eccleston is going to be in an episode of the Sarah Silverman Show. It doesn't suprise me to be honest, he was in an episode of The League Of Gentlemen.
The fact he isn't starring in his own show I find quite perplexing. Since Who he seems to have just popped up here and there without getting anything that is his own.
I was interested to read here that "there was a point where I had a virtually doctor-less draft as it looked like at one point that Christopher [Eccleston] wasn't going to do the full season". He must have hated the show even more than we thought.

Yeah. He's also the villian in the new GI Joe film. Huzzah!

He's doing well then . . . He was very good in Heroes though, acted everyone else off screen.
Just read that the title of this years Christmas special has been announced; it's to be called 'The Next Doctor'. Oh gosh . . .
Looks to me as thought they've taken inspiration from the Big Finish story 'The One Doctor', where a bogus Doctor, played by Christopher Biggins, is impersonating the Timelord.

Tread carefully John, spoilers!
Some people would regard the publishing of the title of the Christmas special to be a spoiler, Matthew.
That's me!
I'm iNsAAnE.
(I don't really. At least not on this occasion.
I reserve the right to throw a wobbly at any point in the future though.)

Well they would be wrong. The title has been released as a fact, spoilers are secrets about content that basically let you know what's going to happen and so spoil the surprise. Quite different. That title could mean anything, like The Doctors Daughter, for instance. It's a tease, not a give away.

Hardly a spoiler, is it, mentioning a similarity to a previous story. I can't imagine there'll be anything surprising or worth spoiling in the Xmas special. It's been written by RTD remember, master of the grand, empty gesture. I reckon they should get Tibor Fischer to write for the next series. Anyhoo.
Recently, whilst farting about in Forbidden Planet, I happened upon, what I assumed to be, an unauthorised David Tennant biography. And, evidently, he was part of the cast of a late '90's sitcom called 'Duck Patrol'. Anybody remember this? It was on ITV and starred Richard Wilson. I vaguely recall it being cobblers.

Do yourself a favor and happen upon the movie Forbidden Planet. It's a freaking masterpiece of science fiction. It's also got on of my favorite movie quotes of all time:
Gorgeous girl swimming in a pool says "Come on in" and a young Leslie Nielsen (playing the captain) says "I didn't bring a bathing suit" to which the girl responds "What's a bathing suit"?
Nielsen's character just looks away with this line "Oh, murder"!
brilliant.
I have Duck Patrol.
It is kind of cobblers. But totally enjoyable.
I next doctor? Gah!
