I look quite fondly on Will and Grace now! Well, Jack and Karen.

Yeah, the title characters were not funny at all. Not even a little bit. Which is odd if it's supposed to be about them.

Didn't Ant and Dec do a version or did I dream that?

That was The Likely Lads

Of The Liver Birds?! Now that I would watch!

Another interesting result is that Ben Elton has a writing credit in both the Loved (Blackadder) and Loathed (Get A Grip) categories.

I think Liver Birds was Carla Lane.

Carla Lane is to sitcoms as Harold Shipman would have been to Last of the Summer Wine.

Yeah, but he's old and useless now. I think it's fair to say he used to have 'it', but lost it some time ago.

:D Agreed

That is a jolly interesting note though.

'
I used to like Bread. 'Gotta get up, gotta get up . . .' That's a bit despised on here though, isn't it?

Carla Lane's malign influence has already been noted with dismay Sooty. Bread was nominated but rescued by Timbo. Astonishing that no-one nominated Butterflies, really.

There are few greats who haven't had the odd stinker in their time.

I believe Norman Wisdom made a stinker of a thriller 10 years ago.

And Eric Idle has had produced more cinematic turds than Lassy.

I loved Bread when I was little!
But I can imagine it would be shit if I rewatched it now.

I seem to remember liking that as a young 'un as well. Maybe there's something wrong with me. I did kill all those priests that time.

yaaaaaay Futurama is universally loved!

Nooooooooo! Not priests!
