But it is, surely? Every line Lee has more or less is a gag; that's really what puts me off it a bit. I know that's supposed to be his character, but I do find it off putting and tiresome after a bit.

It is a gag heavy style of sitcom, definitely. But that's not ALL it is. To me at least.

Vicar of Dibley is a diseased tick on the dog of bad sitcoms.

You're thinking o- Oh I can't be bothered.

Samantha Janus is odd. That is all.

Sexy odd. At least she was in Game On. These days she's just odd. Sexy has left the building.

See Not Going Out is in the loved section; well I don't love it. It's ok, but nothing about it makes me go back for more, I only ever catch it if I switch on by accident and theres nothing else on. I don't see what there is about it to actually 'love'. It's just a string of gags, some quite good, but still.

But you don't actively dislike it. So it's still valid!

I don't loathe Will and Grace (although I don't love it either) but I don't love Steptoe and Son.

And I've never heard of The Colbert Report, if that has any effect on anything at all.

She looks like someone's cut her face in two down the middle, pulled it apart, and then filled in the gap with some new skin.

Just Shoot Me was ace.

:)

I've enjoyed The Friday Night Project before. Especially the first series

Matthew Stott are you officially objecting to Not Going Out?

Lead Balloon is great, as is Colin's Sandwich, Cheers, Stressed Eric but Colonel Dad is tripe.

Robocop the Series was dreadful.

Grace and Favor sucks ass so badly.

But I don't love it, so to say its universally loved would be a lie! This is a mockery! I demand my voice be heard!!

I don't hate Will and Grace.
