Universally Loved And Loathed Page 18

Well neither The Day Today nor Brass Eye are funny. Although I've not seen that much of TDT. I can only assume it's specific to the early 1990s culture of which I am too young to have experienced.

Given some of the sitcoms you're a fan of, I imagine TDT and BS are a bit subtle for you.

OOOH! Drop The Dead Donkey I dislike quite a lot..

Are you mad!?

Heil Honey I'm Home, hmm love or hate that one I'm not sure.

There was an American sitcom abouta fat wrestler and a hot stripper who were married.

They were married and prime horn in the afternoon material.

Married with Children loved for first few seasons, then hated.

Ooh I've just remembered another shocker, Babes In The Wood, despite the presence of Samantha Janus. I will echo Seefacts's view that you want a laugh not a wank from a sitcom. (That's actually a good line. Well done Seefacts.)

I'll cut in and say it was really over-rated.

All the good lines were lost in amongst the sentimental and trite plotlines.

*sigh* but at least no-one could not love Victoria Wood...As Seen On TV...

Nikki.

Stunning Nikki with massive knockers.

Terrible show.

Vicar of Dibley is a diseased tick on the dog of bad sitcoms.

Thanks!

See Not Going Out is in the loved section; well I don't love it. It's ok, but nothing about it makes me go back for more, I only ever catch it if I switch on by accident and theres nothing else on. I don't see what there is about it to actually 'love'. It's just a string of gags, some quite good, but still.

That was good.

But I also like dinnerladies and The Vicar of Dibley...

What do you think people? Should we wind up the voting now that midnight has passed, as originally planned?
