He just slagged off Lynch 'cause he hates (who he perceives as being) the fans of Lynch, but then admitted to liking Lynch himself! Bless him.

Sometimes he is just a silly sausage.

I never know whether to believe he's watched a show and genuinely hates it, or just wants to express his hatred of a group of fans.

A lot of the time I hate the show AND the fans.

I don't hate fans of Lynch specifically, it was just an example.

Keeping Up Appearances I liked it.. mainly cause I watched it growing up with my mum..

I really like the first three (OK possibly for nostalgic reasons), but agree that Keeping Up Appearances is dreadful.

FWIW, I really don't like Sorry!, but love Are You Being Served? and Keeping Up Appearances. The other three I'm not really bothered either way about.
