I'm assuming that this is relating to your involvement in School of Comedy. I'm not quite sure you've redeemed yourself yet.

I really love LOG. The 3rd series is really quite daring format.
The film though, is one of the biggest let downs ever. I don't go into it . . .
I have a friend who hates 'LOG' but seems to know many catchphrases.. maybe he lied..

See above.
I can definitely understand people not thinking League of Gents is their type of thing. But it's clearly extremely well thought out with a lot of time and talent put into the making of it.
So it's not 'pants'.

Did Zooo hate it too?
Lets hope I get to write for the series, that'll redeem me.

I don't hate it. But I could have done without it.
Quote: Winterlight @ September 19 2008, 10:02 PM BSTI was always surprised by just how many people liked LOG. I loved them, but I thought it was too dark for the average person. However, I remember people from all walks of life shouting LOG catchphrases out. The humour in it was fairly broad at times, so maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised.
I feel that way about The Office. I've never understood how the general public in their millions have the patience for it. I always think they only like easy, quick return stuff like Little Britain.
I should perhaps stop underestimating the masses.
Quote: Winterlight @ September 19 2008, 10:01 PM BSTLet's move on to Python:
Up until recently, I thought Python were magnificent. I suppose they are, but sweet Jesus, for every good sketch they did 10 bad ones.
I'd only ever seen Monty Python compilation shows, so only saw their genius material. Then I got the Series 1 dvd and was shocked to see how much utter nonsense and filler they put out.
Still, their best is so incredibly good that I could never ever hate them. The films are excellent too.
Largely agreed.

I find myself going back to Series 3 a lot. I think the Geoff Tipps episode is my favourite. Although I do cry with laughter at the Mark Gatiss character who builds his own Knightrider.

I liked it!

Yes!!
Geoff is my favourite character, but Mark is my favourite Gent.
By the way, why is zooo in such an agreeable mood tonight?

Yeah, the Geoff one is my favourite!
The opening is just too good.
Bog roll in the lift, all the chavs appearing when the car beeper goes off, Mike getting "bummed".

No, quite the opposite. Although I'm not sure what relevance that actually has.

Well, it's a wage I suppose.
He won the mums!
