The 'for students' complaint is something I hate though. Like when people level it at The Boosh, or, in the past, Newman And Baddiel. well I'm not a student, and I love them. I think if you don't like something, then say so; but don't try and belittle it or the people who do by throwing the 'student' thing at it. Not a dig at you Seefacts, it's just one of my pet peeves.

Sorry, I know it's cheap. It's more a 'type' of student that I hate. The same people who think Audrey Hepburn is the best looking woman who ever lived, and who really really like David Lynch.

I do despise The Boosh though . . .

I love the Boosh (well, less lately, but they've done f**k all) love some David Lynch. But luckily! I prefer Katherine Hepburn.

May I be allowed to live?

I have watched South Park and used to enjoy it.. The new episodes aren't so good though

Let's move on to Python:

Up until recently, I thought Python were magnificent. I suppose they are, but sweet Jesus, for every good sketch they did 10 bad ones.

I'd only ever seen Monty Python compilation shows, so only saw their genius material. Then I got the Series 1 dvd and was shocked to see how much utter nonsense and filler they put out.

Still, their best is so incredibly good that I could never ever hate them. The films are excellent too.

I agree with that post.

Sorry but I'm with Graham on that one! The League of Gentlemen is pretty pants!

I was always surprised by just how many people liked LOG. I loved them, but I thought it was too dark for the average person. However, I remember people from all walks of life shouting LOG catchphrases out. The humour in it was fairly broad at times, so maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised.
