It's a sketch show basically. If it was a sketch show then some of the bits might be quite funny. But crow-barred into a poorly characterised world, it's awful.
Well, it makes me laugh.

I don't really care if it's a sitcom or not.

The Simpsons seems to have become more like Family Guy over time - random flights of fancy with no cares about character. That's why the Simpsons isn't as good as it was. They should be more like the Waltons, not like the Griffins.

Family guy - hate it. Sub-Simpsons, aimless and badly written. And looks horrible.
The Goon Show - Spike Milligan, godfather of comedy I really hate. Whimsical nonsense for students.
Python: Great,especially the films; full of ideas.
Family Guy: A bit annoying now, but I used to love it.
Goon Show: Never listened to a whole episode, but the bit i did I found a bit annoying. Nothing wrong with whimsical though, if done well.
The 'for students' complaint is something I hate though. Like when people level it at The Boosh, or, in the past, Newman And Baddiel. well I'm not a student, and I love them. I think if you don't like something, then say so; but don't try and belittle it or the people who do by throwing the 'student' thing at it. Not a dig at you Seefacts, it's just one of my pet peeves.
