Universally Loved And Loathed Page 4

Shall we put an expiry date on this thread of midnight tonight? If nobody rescues Little Miss Jocelyn or Carla Lane by then we can declare them 100% loathed. Maybe a vote over the weekend to see which is the most hated. (Although I think I already know the answer to that.)

I liked Max And Paddy! Sorry zooo.

Sounds good. This could go on forever otherwise.

:O

Erm y'know. Paddy and.... Peter Kaye.

I keep replying to posts without seeing the last page of posts!

Flipping Ada.

I pretty much love everything Peter Kay does. He just makes me laugh.

Loathed: And Then You Die.

Sick

oh Max and Paddy.. I really liked the first two episodes.. after that it was god awful!
:)

The following are universally loved, but personally loathed by me:

- South Park

- Father Ted

There's plenty of other stuff I loathe too. But I don't think those are considered "universally loved" anyway.

Loved: Tilt.

Ian are these just your personal "loves" or shows you imagine are universally loved?

I'm going to suggest Viz, Not The Nine O'Clock News and Rising Damp as universally loved.

Loathed: Pappy's Fun Club

Made even School Of Comedy look funny.

I don't know about universal, but I imagine a lot of people here like Tilt - especially those who had their sketches performed on it (like me).

Also, I think Peep Show and One Foot in the Grave are universally loved, while shows like Mind Your Language and Love Thy Neighbour are universally loathed.

Ooh, Loved : Fry and Laurie.

Has there been a TV adaptation...?

Surprisingly, I like them.

I like Mind Your Language or at least I did when it was on.
I can't remember Love Thy Neighbour well enough.

I'm ambivalent about One Foot In The Grave.

Obviously Tilt was terrific ;)

Yes there have been TV adaptations of Viz, but in the small print of this thread, it does say you're allowed to nominate any comedy at all.
