OK. So we are a contrary lot on BSG. Some people like Spaced, others hate it. Ditto The Office, The Mighty Boosh, The Royle Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc etc etc.
But I wonder - is there any comedy that is universally loved or universally loathed?
I'm going to try and keep track, by going back and editing this post.
Please suggest comedy (sitcom, sketch, film, stand-up...) that you believe must be universally loved or universally loathed. If any BSGers disagree, please say so on the thread. Obviously the twattish thing to do is just to disagree with everything for the sake of it, so please, genuine opinions only. Also, if you have no real opinion on a sitcom, it doesn't count for this. I just want to hear from people who love the "loathed" ones and hate the "loved" ones.
I'm going to start with a couple of suggestions - not necessarily my favourites (because I know some people don't like Peep Show, amazingly) - but ones I genuinely believe everyone likes. Ditto for the stinkers.
