Sad City Song

TO THE TUNE OF HE AIN'T HEAVY, HE'S MY BROTHER BY B. Scott and B. Russell - AS SUNG BY THE HOLLIES ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7HPqi5uVeo )

Where'd it go wrong?
From when we had cash to burn
Would soon be a millionaire
Millionaire
Now it's gone
Gone with the derivatives
What a pity, for Lehman Brothers

So on it goes
The same sad way as Bear Stearns
No value left to our shares
To our despair
And I know
Next up could be AIG
To file bankruptcy, like Lehman Brothers

Saw the trading floor fall
The scene was just madness
The stock market chart
Was showing the badness
Of times for Lehman Brothers

We all lost a load
In bonuses never earned
Looks like there's no pay, I swear
It's a nightmare
And I know
I won't be the last to fall
From the City, to the gutter

Rob0, you've got the parody song down to a fine art. Quality. :)

Ahh Tommy, but what kind of quality? Not much reaction, I can only assume they're struggling to read it as much as I did to write it.

Envy makes them turn away. :P

Again, top notch, Rob! Also, you may be able to help Howard!

Very professional, I'd be interested to see what your take up rate is with NR/TS/.

Thanks, really wasn't sure about this one, found it quite a struggle to write anything once I had the initial idea.

Does he need a new song? Perhaps to use at funerals, weddings, christenings or barmitzvahs.
Was funny how many people, rather than being concerned with the takeover of HBOS, were wondering whether Howard's adverts would continue.

To date nothing that I'm aware of. Incidentally, haven't received the running order from TS for last week, and whilst I did receive an email about general Canal Theatre events, nothing at all with regards to NR either. Don't know what I have to do to ensure I'm informed :(
