Argh, I can't think of anything now I'm on the spot. I'll have to wait for something to come.

Quote: ian_w @ September 17 2008, 8:30 PM BSTCor. Finally! My teacher wears an army uniform with stockings and suspenders underneath!
I'm in!!!!!
What are we learning? Nevermind, I'll just sit at the back and 'take notes'.

Course I can. Almost automagically. But a tad spontaneously:
Sie ist ein Model und sie sieht gut aus.
She's a model and she's looking good.
I'm gonna take her home with me tonight.
Sie wirkt so kühl, an sie kommt niemand 'ran.
She seems so cool, she's unapproachable.
But in front of the camera she shows what she can do.
Sie trinkt im Nachtklub immer Sekt (korrekt).
In the night club she uses to drink champagne (alright).
Und hat hier alle Maenner abgecheckt.
And she's checked out all the men here.
Im Scheinwerferlicht ihr junges Lächeln strahlt.
In the spotlight her smile is beaming.
She looks good and looking good's paid well.
She parades herself for the consumer good.
Und wird von Millionen Augen angeguckt.
Is being looked at by a million eyes.
Ihr neues Titelbild ist einfach fabelhaft.
Her new cover photo looks just fabulous.
I need to see her again, cause I know she's made it.

Wow. Thank you, so much! And I mean that. I've always wanted to know the literal translation.
Here's the lyrics on their English language version of the song:
She's a model and she's looking good
I'd like to take her home that's understood
She plays hard to get, she smiles from time to time
It only takes a camera to change her mind
She's going out tonight, loves drinking just champagne
And she has been checking nearly all the men
She's playing her game and you can hear them say
She is looking good, for beauty we will pay
She's posing for consumer products now and then
For every camera she gives the best she can
I saw her on the cover of a magazine
Now she's a big success, I want to meet her again
Interesting.

Interesting.
I've seen the English lyrics on the site I took the German lyrics from. They're quite different, so I decided I'd rather translate it myself. They do grasp the tone of the lyrics alright, though.
I can't believe people in Britain listen to Kraftwerk. Noone here does. I had to look them up after having seen the Bill Bailey spoof.
A simple one: what would Doctor Who be in German?
(Even though I'm sure the show is just called "Doctor Who", said with a German accent.)

Doktor Wer.
That's just silly.

I like the Kraftwerk. I've only got the one album, Trans Europe Express, but very good it is.

You've got to check out their other stuff. Trans-Europe is one of my favourite albums, it's brilliant as you say but they've done some awesome stuff.
The Man Machine and Radioactivity and especially The Tour De France soundtracks from 2003 (interestingly, all sung in French) are worth getting.

Kraftwerk are ace.
