Are you being a little bit on my side? Please say yes, I really need some support :(

I always felt it would be a waste of time hanging Hitler. He did what he thought was right, and followed his conciouse. Like Hess lock him up to keep him out of trouble, but otherwise no other punishment.

It's the collabarators, and the apologists who are the real danger.

People who always seek to understand and forgive.

They're the real danger.

Now you're blowing it all out of proportion. You're good at putting words in my mouth, in much the same way that you added to my post earlier, and then went on to argue about your own additional comments.

I guess Ian I'm a little stuck on your original Hitler comments.

Thats and the idea that a 1,000,000 American soldiers should have died rather than 130,000 Japanese. Because they were patriotic enough not to dodge the draft.

I think 9/11 shows we have the courage to die for our principles, but not to kill for them. That way leads cultural suicide.

Hitler = bad
Bombing = bad
Both bad, no question in my mind.
But what is good?
Sandwich = good

Puppies = good

Combining those two good thing? Baaaaad.

How did you get your hands on Canada's Strategic Defence Plan?

That's not our defense system, this is our defense system

Regardless of why they did it, they made a choice. The civilian women and children in Hiroshima did not.
And how can you say a million soldiers would have died anyway? You have no idea what would've happened.

I think 9/11 shows we have the courage to die for our principles, but not to kill for them. That way leads cultural suicide.

Not kill? Are you kidding me?

And my original point was that if indeed Muslims were responsible for 9/11 then they were trying to do exactly what America did but on a far smaller scale. Yet they are evil bastards and America was a hero that had no choice. Get f**ked.
And Saddam got bumped off because he was such a twat who killed so many Kurds - hurray and everything. So what about Kennedy? Why isn't he remembered as the tyrant who slaughtered thousands of Vietnamese? It's all propaganda and f**king blatent one-sided mindwashing - the Star Wars "we're the light side and they the dark" mentality. Both sides are as bad, the world is manupulated by corrupt leaders who's only concern is controlling the people and keeping them servile. What is more, throughout history they've used the same tricks again and again but people still fall for it all head first.

Ian the million figure was the US DOD own estimates at the time.
They've never really been disproved by anyone.

Sadam was executed after a fair trial for crimes against humanity.

Everyone Kenedy killed was as part of a legitimate attempt to defend South Vietnamese democracy. No one talks about the North Vietnamese slaughter after the war.

Democracies like England, the US, and Israel throw themselves opent to the press.

Vicious dictatorships turn them away at the border.

Hence the US kills less then Sadam ever did, during it's ocupations and there's terrible protests.

Why? Because there's pretty pictures to wave at assinine protests.

The unthinking knee jerk liberal response is going to be the thing that kills our civilisation stone dead.

In WW2 when faced with evil, some of the greatest men of our generation knew what to do.

Bomb their cities, kill them, terrorise them. Then execute their leaders, and reeducate their populace.

The result democracy across Europe, and much of Asia, freedom democtacy and the rule of law.

It's a shame so many spit on such a great acheivment.

Personally I think McArthur was right to want to atom bomb Pyongang in the 1950s. Some 10s of millions Koreans would have to lot to thank him for.
