Don't think for one moment that he wouldn't have if he didn't want to harness our power and industrialisation. Remember that the Empire was still largely in tact at this point, and it's well-accepted that plans had been underway on both sides to effectively split the world in two - British-controlled, and Germany-controlled.

So what you're saying then is that both sides were as bad as each other?

And you have to ask yourself, how did Hitler, who inherited a crumbling and extremely unstable economy, finance a war against the rest of the world? Where was he getting all his money from?

Dead jews.

Dead jews.

Laughing out loud

Largely true though.

Also Sealion was plain impossible with the RAF having even a handful of bombers. They would have sunk the over burdened invasion barges with considerable ease, in the narrow channels available.

Hitler never did a humane or kind thing his whole sorry time in power.

I'm surprised on you not knowing that.

Actually there is disagreement amongst historians as to whether Sealion would've been successful or not. If they're not sure about it, how can you be?

And as for Hitler, people aren't black or white Joel, it's not Star Wars. Sure he was one evil bastard, but he was still human and probably had compassion for some things.

What I'm saying is that your argument is shortsighted, as he only didn't bomb and invade that ferociously because he believed he had more to gain, more easily, by seeking a peaceful truce/deal/agreement with Great Britain.

What? So the Battle of Britain was a means of seeking peace? Some very odd diplomacy there.

It worked with the bombing of Rotterdam.

Also the shelling of Singapore by the Japanese.

Killing loads of people then threatening to kill more, sometimes works.

For whooooooo?

Aparently he kicked his Alsation, and yes the world is black and white at times.

Revisionist historians who always see both sides of the coin, frankly deserve shooting, and burying in unmarked graves. I suppose in a fair society we have to tolerate them living. This is a shame.

As for SeaLion yes there are people believe it may have failed anyway. Frankly they're idiots in a minority. But more importantly it's what Hitler beleived and what he made his decisions around.

Nazisim, Stalinism, Maoism are the closest the world ever got to pure unadulterated evil. Millions dead, millions more broken and scarred.

To even contemplate rationalising and sympathising with them, is to give up on your own humanity at a prfound level.

For whooooooo?

For the Germans and Japanese.

The bombings forced both victims to surrender swiftly.

When did I show even slight signs of doing either of those?
I wasn't talking about Naziism I was talking about Hitler as a person.

That was a crazy cool story DaButt!
If I learned anything form movies, it's how to survive a nuclear explosion.

God what a stupid movie.

And yet that was the best bit.
