Great! Very promising. Very comprehensive directions. Like to see more. Just one thing though; there's no need for:

Ugh! Richard and Judy.
No need to 'ram it home'. I laughed at the fact that someone would 'pull one off at Richard & Judy' anyway!
You could possibly state - 'DEANO RUBS HIS CHIN IN BEMUSEMENT' or similar but again, no need to 'ram it home'.
I'd like it better if we didn't see the TV ourselves at all, but we see him react to it and he says the line.

It needs to be more specific. How does he react? Is it derision, disgust, laughter, ecstasy? Does Deano pull off to the Krankies?

Liked the alternative suggestions, made me stop and think
Re: 'ram it home', didn't realise it may come across that way. I included that dialogue as I'd imagine that character actually saying it in disgust/disbelief and maybe enhance the word ‘and' in Richard and judy.. as if to say Richards bad enough, but judy aswell.
duuno, if when the tv comes into view and we see richard and judy (this should hopefully get 1 laugh), then when we see Deano react and say it (it may get the 2nd lugh/chuckle or extended laugh) assuming its acted how i visualise it
as apposed to 1 laugh if just see/hear his reaction.
what do you think? Any thoughts?
Included the tv shot to get a visual of Richard & judy. But fear viewers (assuming it ever gets that far but we must dream) may think its their guest (even tho' not even seen) he's pulling over not R&J.
So have since thought maybe its a recording and the man has it paused. The paused picture being Richard in mid speech with hand movement but paused in such a way it looks like he's about to suck an invisible ‘something' with eyes shut, and with judy looking as tho' she's watching him with her hands on her breasts.

Might be difficult to get a shot of that! Also what time of day is it? I know postal deliveries are getting later and later, but R&J did the 5-6pm slot until very recently. Not sure what they'll be doing on their new channel though...
Maybe it could be David Dickinson or that other antiques guy - the gap-toothed Terry Thomas-alike on a daytime programme. Or worse still it's a young guy and the TV show is Murder She Wrote?

with regards to time, i guess that makes me go even more with the recorded/paused version, as this will get round that.
yeah i imagine it would be tricky to get a pause shot of something like that, but it could be done one way or the other i'm sure.
Also you could include the posties nicking a huge Amazon order they are supposed to be delivering. And then the woman they were intended for goes mental at Amazon, who couldn't give a toss, so she rings up the royal mail, gets called 'love' alot by someone who sounds like Frank Butcher and who pretty much admits some postie has half-inched it. She finally gets a refund from Amazon, who still don't give a toss and wonders who the person 'zara' was who apparently signed for her order at her address, presumably in a paralell universe. Finally she goes to a book shop and HMV to get the items she originally ordered and all in all it took about three weeks to get the stuff she ordered under 'standard 2-4 day' delivery.

I was really referring to the nature of the gentleman's tenedency to have set procedures when one is having a tug, but now you come to say it, yes, some manner of filing system would be lovely.
