Bad comedies that are strangely enjoyable? Page 2

I loved Rentaghost too but f***ed if I know why.

I always watched the Bananna Splits too and I haven't a clue why because even then I thought it was dire.

Banana Splits was brilliant. Was it Fleegle or Bingo (?) who looked like Billie Piper?

It was great the way you had these different cartoon series linked together with the New Monkees.

You've got me singing the theme tune now.

Damn.

Sing the feem toon write the feem toon.

You made the same joke twice? Who are you... god that fell flat, my mind has gone blank....

A lot of those very poor US sitcoms they used to churn out about six times a minute. Like 'Out of thias World' which only had one joke: somebody says something then does the opposite. You know, "I'm not scared of anything" - knock on the door - "That was scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Cue canned laughter.

I'd have to include the titles of neighbours episodes which always make me laugh like 'Strooth hurts,' 'Gay it isn't so,' 'Connor amongst thieves,' 'Eat surrender,' 'From queer to absurdity' and my personal favorite 'Letter the devil you know.'

rentaghost was definitely the dog's proverbials!!

What about straight movies/shows that are so bad they are hilarious?

My faves are Arnie in Commando (Why don't you let off some steam, Bennett!) and Dr. Quinn especially after French and Saunders sent it up so brilliantly

Chucklevision

I love Chucklevision. :D

Come to think of it, "Not Going Out" is a bit like a thinking man's Chucklevision. Cool

Dharma and Greg - nuff said.

Ha.
Or indeed the similar in tone: Will and Grace.

I liked that 'Shane' sitcom! Shame they didn't make a second series.
