I'm listening to them trendy kids 'Metronomy' for the first time. Not sure what to make of them.

I've got to say Metronomy are a great band. "Heartbreaker," is a choon, with a lovely video to boot.

Ben Folds.

I've not been listening to music much at all lately.

*hugs music*

Live Forever - Oasis

Actually the greatest song ever written. In my opinion.

You need to get out more. ;)

Teary I'm pretty sure no Oasis song has ever made a list of greatest song ever written.

I'm listening to, Moneen's "If Tragedy's Appealing Then Disasters are An Addiction"
Neat video of what one minute can do to change a day. :)

No I do listen to a hell of a lot of music, but that song is just musical perfection in my opinion. Great vocals, lovely guitars (and ridiculously simple to play) and an amazing solo :D

It arrived already? Speedy delivery!

... Or are you just reminiscing? Probably. Ignore me. :)

I've seen a lot of lists where Oasis have had multiple entries near the top of such lists. I think it was Q magazine that also had Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory as the two best British albums of all time.

Here's a BBC link:

Voted for by HMV shoppers and Q music magazine readers.... Hmmm... I still need convincing.

Haha, I see what you mean, but when it comes to British music I imagine Q readers and HMV shoppers will be a bit clued up.

In 1996 Q had a list of top 100 songs of all time, and Oasis were at number one and number two again:

Truth is though, so many lists of this kind have been created that there's probably even one with McFly at number 1 *shudder*.
