Somebody help me name this kids show!!!! Page 2

I loved this show; glam rock and animals - fab!

I can never hear or read the name Rory, without saying "Rory, Rory, tell us a story" in my head.

We used to say that to a boy called Rory at school.
But I've never seen or heard of this show.

Tell you what though, that drummer looks dangerously like a Banana Split.

Banana Splits.

The Banana Split on the left looks like Billy Piper.

That show would have scared the hell out of me as a kid.

I loved it. Wasn't The Arabian (K?)Nights on that?

Yes. 'Size of an elephant, size of a mouse' or summat.

And the 3 Musketeers.

The Banana Splits had a great theme tune I recall.

One banana, two banana, three banana, four
five bananas make a bunch, and so do many more...

The Banana Splits was repeated on Chris Evans-era The Big Breakfast. I hadn't realised how boring it actually was.

Bingo
Fleagle
Snorky
and.....now it's time for Dear Drooper.

And they had groovy little cars.

Barry White was apparently in the band that sang the theme tune.

All the best kids' shows seemed to have been on when I was too young to really appreciate them. Does anyone remember another show called The Groovy Ghoulies? Or how about HR Puff 'n' Stuff? Both of these shows were originally shown well before I was born, but they were still being repeated, when I was really young.

The 80s had the best kids TV. They were still learning how to do it in the 70s...
