Have you ever posted anything here, Marc P? I'd like to read something by you.

I posted a massive one in critique only yesterday.

:)

God, you're so needy.

I'm a writer!

Anyway, it's nice to know what works as well as what doesn't.

What does everyone else think? At least one person said they liked that device when I first posted a different incarnation of this scene.

That was me! :P

I thought the 'babbling' was a good effect and I honestly found it funny. Infact I still thinks it's funny.

Def.

I would post a sitcom up here but the formatting issue makes it too much of a pain, maybe the new site will have a feature like the 'scriptreader' site where you can paste the thing striaght in. I can point you to some sites if want to have a read of a drama script, Chip?

This is probably the easiest way.

Tell me, Marc, as a drama writer, do you find it more difficult writing an hour of drama as opposed to half an hour. Only as a viewer I sometimes struggle to get through an hour, much preferring the American 40 minutes.

It's horses and courses really. Some stories you can't really tell in half an hour. The script I wrote the one before last was a two hour feature film (Spec) and it took less time to write than a finished Holby say. Better characters too. )
