And now that I have moved and have a ma-hoo-sive new desk and chair set up, I thought I would take another photo.

:)

With that big flag I thought it was Gary Bushell's work station.

Big? It's tiny! I should have brought and put up one of my full size flags - now THOSE are big.

Anyway, quite unlikely, as he's a supporter of the CEP (Campaign for an English Parliament), and is not only a member of, but has been a Parliamentary candidate for the English Democrats.

Well, I think ANY flag in a house is big. Did you need reminding where you were?

"God, that grammar is . . . F**k, where am I??! . . . Shit . . . Oh, I'm in the UK. God, I thought I might be in France or somewhere . . ."

Seefact's that flags making you very angry.

Are you a communist? Or a closet Belgian?

Ha,

No, I'm incredibly pro UK, and pro being proud of your nation. Just unusal to see a flag in a house I thought.

Yes if you're a communist.

I have 300 Union Jacks and am currently sitting wrapped in one, with a helmet and trident.

No, I just love where I live and think that the flag is pretty. :)

My house has been completely flooded, so I am classing it as a ship for flag purposes.

That mean you council tax exempt?

LOL.

Yes I am aiming to declare the republic of Sootyjistan.

I bet he hasn't read the novel.

Aaron my trained eyes immediately home in on your copy of Peter Ackroyd's history of London. That is a splendid book. Have you read it? And have you read his novel Dan Leno And The Limehouse Golem? That's a book to open your eyes.

I'm part-way through. Am a slow reader, unfortunately. All of the books at that end of the desk are about London. It is a great (in both senses of the word) book though, you're right. Very insightful. Did you see the BBC adaptation of it? How about Thames, or the ITV adaptation of that (which finished on Thursday IIRC)?

And I'm not too big on novels - tend to read for knowledge rather than entertainment - but I do quite like his style so will no doubt check it out at some point. :)

DAMN YOU FOR KNOWING ME SO WELL!

Oh wow, I hope that's true!
