Numerous Queries

im currently about 25 pages odd into writing an episode...but im suffering from a distinct lack of motivation...any tips? its strange cause i think what im writing's good...i just not in the mood..I'm watching the Simpsons to try and inspire me back into form as we speak....

2. does anyone know of any good director's commentaries that relate to writing?I know Graham Linehan's commentary from the Father Ted series is brilliant for little tips such as the use of rules-the law that Craggy Island does not appear on any maps for instance.

3. Does anyone know any Script templates that are compatible to microsoft word 2008? i think scriptsmart is only compatible with earlier incarnations.
Im looking at free script software of course.

4. There is a distinct lack of love for Monkey Dust on these forums...there all on youtube...probably one of the best comedies to grace our screens in the last couple of years.

2. The Seinfeld 'Inside Looks' on the dvd extras would be pretty inspiring, I think.

Interesting to see where a lots of the ideas came from.

There was a great piece of advice from Graham Linehan regarding a lack of motivation on Jason Arnop's blog.

Linehan says don't worry if you're procrastinating rather than working as your brain is actually gather "ammunition" for the script and eventually you'll get to the stage where you'll have to do some writing just to unload.

The League of Gentlemen comentaries have a lot about the writing. And they have extra documentaries on their DVDs just about the writing of them too. Which are brilliant.

On the DVD for Series 5 of Peep Show, Sam Bain & Jesse Armstrong make some good points about how the writing process works.

Ooh, that does sound good.

I think the best thing to do is start something else and if something springs to mind go back to it.
