Not ordinary Balloons

This is not really a proper sketch, just a rambling stream of consciousness that I wrote in literally 10 seconds for a 3D animation test. But I hope you like the odd little fella.

For the insanely nerdy comedy fans out there I 'borrowed' a line from a stand-up sketch from the 80's/90's by Which comedian? ?

I wondered when we'd start seeing some 3D out of your stable. Nice work.

Nice animation although I didn't find it very funny. No idea about the comedian but I'll say Joe Pasquale just because of the last line.

EDIT: Hang on, I'm not sure he's a comedian.

Cheers David. A lot more 3D to come I hope, probably go down the simple creature comforts route until I can animate walk cycles etc.

Very good for a first go matey :)

Animation wise lip syncing was pretty good, the eyes and expressions need a wee bit of work but nothing major.

Other then that good stuff. What are you planning next?

Yeah, I noticed he doesn't blink. Not even once. Who does he think he is - Samuel L Jackson?

Comments left on YouTube as is 5 stars. :)

Thanks for the comments and stars! Yeah my next character will hopefully have more expressions...and the ability to blink!! Damn your Eagle Eyes Bussell!!! :)

Same thing really. I'll spend much more time on character design for the next one, and then I'll re-use him several times for a series of monologues as I'm a lazy git!
