CCTV

The girlfriend of one of my mates is convinced he's cheating on her, and thinks he was out with a girl, in Liverpool city centre, yesterday, when he was actually with me. He was thinking of trying to get hold of some CCTV footage of us, in a bar, to prove he's innocent. Does anyone know if he could do this?

Yes, start a fight with Joey Barton.

I once got caught on CCTV having sex with my girlfriend on a pool table. (That doesn't really answer your question, I guess?)

Smoking hot or not, nothing's worth that kind of hassle.

I was going to do an easy pink / tight brown joke.

But that's snooker.

Data protection says you are entitled to get a copy of any CCTV footage of yourself but only if you yourself are on the tape. You may have to pay for it though.

But it seems extreme. I think your friend need to stand up to his missus and if she won't believe him and you as a witness, he is best off out of it.

It was actually the pool table in the doctor's mess at a hospital I was working at. Rather embarrassingly, they suspended the pool competition until the baize had been cleaned. Whistling nnocently

Trouble is if he was on a gay date with you, she may be just as jealous... ;)

Girlfriend=boiler of bunnies

Your mate=Pussy-whipped.

My two cents worth= Tell your mate to run and quit the "I'll take a lie detector test" crap.

They don't like that, do they, these women?

Some are more liberal than others.

In this day and age, a bit of bi hanky-panky shouldn't be a problem.

Have you got any phone numbers?

Gee I got a whole book full here. I read it in bed. Most of my sketches are based on it's contents. Oh no, THEY say they might as well be... ;)

In my experience when someone accuses their partner of cheating without any real evidence, it's down to two things.

1) They have had a bad experience in the past and have decided all men/women behave this way. This shows not only a lack of trust but a lack of respect as it's unfair to the other person to assume they will do the same as some git you dated before....

....or....

2) They have been cheating themselves or have a history of doing so.

I think their problem can be sorted by just talking to each other. Cheaper than CCTV.

Yep, she sounds like a projector.
