Which BSGer do you admire? Page 2

Oh yes. Nowadays I'm pitching it to prod cos. The last repsonse I got went something like this...

"I read your script. I handed it to some colleagues who read it also. We're all agreed you can write. We also all think your script is disgusting. Please can you write something of the same quality that isn't disgusting?"

I thought you might've had trouble with it! Who knows, maybe you're just ahead of your time. Wait a few more years, and maybe people will be ready for it in the future.

Awww thanks Rubes. I admire you for having the patience of a Saint, and even feeling sorry for trolls.

Aaron our brave leader; a loan machine gunner in the trenches gunning down text speech and lousy grammer?

I admire Mark (admin) for his dedication to this site which has enveloped my life over the past 18 months.

Mark? Who runs the part of the site you use?! Cheeky mare.

I admire zooo, for letting on so much about herself, and yet so very little. And making me laugh just by turn of phrase and speech mannerisms.

And Alan C, for his mighty sitcom brain.

*cough cough*

Aaron, you missed the misuse of loan instead of lone in the phrase "loan machine gunner".

"Your powers are weak, old man." Laughing out loud In a linguistic sense, natch.

That was deliberate; the line refered to a brave man who only borrowed a machine gun. Also he's defending himself against people who abuse grandmothers in the US midwest.

I believe a colloquialy term for them is grammers.

Ha Sootyj 1 rest of the world nil!

*Inserts gag about Aaron sucking on a Fisherman's Friend for zooo's benefit*

** SlagA curses silently **

Foiled again. Damn you, English, thou most malleable of languages.

I rarely read sootyj's posts any more. They're largely indecipherable. I don't remember the middle part of that sentence at all!

Well spotted though.
