Hello my British friends!

Hello, everybody.

My name is Luke...as you most likely can see by my...screen name...*cough*...

I am 18 and live in California, USA. However, I plan on moving the the U.K. within the next 5 years or so. I love writing and British TV! Great comedies. Sadly, America is too stupid to get a lot of smart comedy, so we just don't write it. BBC America and re-runs of Arrested Development (the greatest American comedy) are all that keep my love for television alive.

I've been working on an idea for a while and am currently writing the pilot script. Once I'm more comfortable with it, I'll be sure to post it up on the board so I can get some feedback on it.

I'm not too sure if anyone on here will understand anyone wanting to move from California to the UK (except Aaron)
Arrested Development is a great show I like your taste. Don't be shy about posting stuff becauses the criticism is usually always constructive and very useful.

Hello, Darren. I'm actually working on the script as we speak...however, I may have to post something tomorrow. It is almost 2am here and I think I may regret continuing this script. I don't want to spend all night on it, wake up, read it over, and realize I'm not too funny when I'm half-asleep.

And Aaron! Anyone that uses a phrase like: "I like the cut of your jib" is okay in my book.

Good idea Luke. Although you might be even funnier when you're half-asleep! Maybe you should try it?

By the way, we use lines like '... cut of your jib' all the time here. Cor blimey... lumme lawks... a right-royal cockney barrel of monkeys.
