What are peoples views on torrents, downloading and that whole area?

Yeah I download stuff on utorrent mostly, usually if its American, but if I really like it I buy it. The reason I download first is because you don't want to order a region 1 dvd and not like it.

Yeah I mainly get American shows or stuff that's never repeated. Then I usually end up buying it on DVD anyway.
I would never of seen Arrested Development if it wasn't for torrent, thank you torrent, thank you.
I use utorrent as well, nice 'n simple, like me 
uTorrent is shite. Utter, utter shite.
Anyway.
I praise Torrents almost on a daily basis (and partake in them almost 14-7).

I use Azureus. Found that under uTorrent I was getting ridiculously slow speeds.
I like utorrent because it's a standalone and I get full speeds, so I'm 'appy.
Azureus is standalone. And how do you know what full speeds are, eh, eh?
Well as much as my broadbandy can handle (8megs).
My experience of torrents so far: SLOW!
Mind you, I've only used BitTorrent.
