I did submit one that admittedly was a bit tricky to stage but only sitcom I have to date written.
I think in a real sitcom trial I would be found guilty of crimes against comedy

They're not the ones entered for the sitcom trials, it's a new bit of fun one, he asked for scripts that just couldn't be staged...i.e...like a boeing 747 lands etc

If nobody has heard anything, is there a possibility they are actually reading them....in so many comps I'm convinced work gets thrown in the bin as winners are announced so quickly...or maybe my stuff is just ______ (fill in your own word)
I think a little patience is needed. If I had to read 300+ scripts, I'd take my time to read them.
How long does it normally take them?

But 290'll be rubbish and they're only about 20 pages each or thereabouts!!

I sent in a script but, as I'd heard nothing, assumed I hadn't made the final 16. Haven't the 16 been announced yet?

I don't think so. Simon said he would list the 16 on his website and he hasn't done yet but the thing starts on the 24th sept and I'd be panicking by now if that were me....rehearsing actors etc
