I assisted a dramatherapy workshop day with children with various disabilites and their parents and carers. They go mad for everything to do with painting things and hitting things. I never have a problem getting them to start playing drums, it's GETTING THEM TO STOP!

Working with kids is rewarding though. That first moment when you are sat there and a sweet little boy or girl comes over to you and climbs up onto your knee, gives you a big hug, looks up, smiles sweetly and utters the immortal words, "I have nits", you never forget it.

Girl guides were the worst. NEVER EVER AGAIN. One tried to set fire to my coat. I've worked with prisoners who were better mannered.
