What on earth is asti spumanti?:)

Welcome to sooty's world. :)

Would agree with sooty's classification of the docs especially with the leaving out of McGann, but not with the fact that Davison appears to be on the subs bench and in the actor classification. Also he was a top doc.

This thread is in the General Forum. So we can go off topic if we like.

Well that's what I thought :S

Hmmmm, now what could possibly be inducing memory loss? :P

The coat of being glad to get £50,000 for 5 minutes work.

I saw him as the fool in King Lear, he was good. I think he was a good actor stuck with 2 dreadful assistants and working at Whos darkest hour.

An ugly mix of rubbish guest stars, comedy scripts, over portentious scripts and no budget.

Shame he himself was ok.

What did you think of Davison in the 2007 Children in Need Special Time Crash?:)

He was flipping ace. I loved that.

I mean Season 24 was not good at all, but Remembrance of the Daleks, The Greatest Show In the Galaxy and the whole of Season 26 were excellent.:)

Didn't see it, didn't mind Big Break, even though he is a cock. ;)

Astis a very cheap wine.

Davison is very good and an impressive actor. He kept his upper lip stiff through the death of Adric and the Murka, never weakened.

But he's not as good an actor Dr compared to Troughton and Ecclestone, who had the unfair advantage of better scripts.

I'd love to see Davison handle the Empty Child or Dalek.

I'd also like to see McCoy take them.

Tom Baker much as I love him would have jsut shouted till Billi Piper started crying.

Very good and maybe a smidgeon better than Tenant (who had some awful RTD lines).
