You are so right. Troughton in first place.

Oh...this isn't the fantasy thread...
It is now.

Ha ha! I couldn't go back to Playboy after that!
Quote: sootyj @ August 27 2008, 10:13 PM BSTIt was actually the 2 Doctors I watched. And watching Troughton vs Baker.
Was like comparing asti spumanti with champagne.
What on earth is asti spumanti?
Quote: sootyj @ August 27 2008, 10:15 PM BSTTenant loses places for poor scripts. No one could make some of the stinkers he's been in good.
But you were listing them as 'actors' and 'entertainers'.
I don't understand why you don't think Tennant is a good actor.
But, we've done this before! So we shouldn't again.
I think that for a lot of people, it's generational. It's always the Doctor from your childhood that sticks out most. I was born in 1984, so logically i'll always fondly remember Sylvester McCoy as MY Doctor.
And whatever happened to Sea-Devils?
They were my favourite of the barely used villains. I know they were mentioned by The Master in an off-hand way recently, but it was never followed up on.
I doubt Moffat is going to use any of the old villains, so it makes me sad.

And to show you all how much of a real McCoy fan I am, here is a picture of me in costume.
@ian I deleted my post, thought I'd posted in the wrong thread. Seeing it was off topic I probably had. Still the quotes there, so it's all good.
But each had their highs and lows.
Except for Colin Baker, honestly I can't think of any episodes when he wasn't a techni coloured cock.
McCoy I reckon snuck off set and cried sometimes.
Davison is a bloody good actor and gave some dreadful stories undeserved gravitas.
Davison's brilliant.

No worries. But what's the worry about going off topic? Don't tell me there's a new law been layed down?
This thread is in the General Forum. So we can go off topic if we like.

What did you think of the Tweed coat McCoy wore in the TV Movie?
