What's the other 75%??

-50% Dutch (my dad was born in the Netherlands).
-25% French (my mom father was from France).
-25% Canadian (my mom's mother's family has a long history in Canada).
:)

Interesting. :)

Canada is a very popular place to emmigrate to. I can see why. It's a lovely place.

I went to Calgary a few years ago, when my Auntie lived out there. Visited Banff, now that was beautiful. And Lake Loiuse, can't remember if that's in the same place though.

Where did your mum's ancestors originally come from? Have you got any British blood in you? By the way, did you know that Mike Myers' parents both come/came from my hometown, Liverpool? He said he used to think he was related to the Beatles, when he was a kid, because his parents were always playing their music, and spoke just like them. Speaking of famous people with Liverpool roots, Halle Berry's mother, and both of Kim Cattrell's parents are also from from the city.

So all these talent people leave Liverpool and do better for themselves?

Well... you do have Cilla Black Eh?

Sorry that sounds harsh... I have some of my roots in Liverpool, my dad was born there and my grandfather lived there most of his life.

I think Kim Cattrell is the only one who was born in Liverpool, and she left when she was 1.

You're so right. Banff is gorgeous (and I think Lake Louise *is* there). Absolutely beautiful. Did you go in the hot springs?

Yeah, lovely, but stinky as hell. :D That sulphur eh? Like rotten eggs.

And we visited the Olympic thingy, where Eddie the Eagle jumped.

God yes, the smell!! Sick

I always thought Banff looked liked the town in Dante's Peak but I guess it isn't.

I saw the Olympic village only from a distance.
