I really want to see the remake of Brideshead Revisited when it comes out, but I'm not sure when that is!

It's already out here in the States. My girlfriend saw it several weeks ago.

IMDB says October 3rd for the UK release.

Oh okay, thanks for that! Did your girlfriend enjoy it?

What's inspired that?

Sorry, yeah, that came out a bit random. I meant like in Sensitive Skin! I love her house. Boat. Boat house. House boat?

She said it was ok, but she attended against her will. Her friend dragged her to see it in retaliation for being forced to see some sort of horror movie.

Ahh, I see!

Just watched the new Mummy. I thought it was a bit rubbish, made worse by the replacement Evie.

Anyone else seen Hellboy II? Was a bit disappointed to be honest.

Me too. I enjoyed the first one more. Did you know Luke Goss (of Bros) played the Elven/Fairy Prince/King blokey? He's been in a couple of high profile films recently.

No - that's interesting. Yeah, it wasn't dark enough and every time the plot went somewhere interesting it went off in another direction without exploring it at all. 'But you're more like us than the humans' 'Huh...interesting...' (shoots the guy anyway). 'But he's going to destroy the world' 'Huh...interesting...' (saves the guy anyway).
In the first one it felt like there was a real feeling that Hellboy was forced to choose between two worlds.
And what's with the 'ooo...we better not make Abe sound gay anymore if he's going to have a love interest...' Jeez...

Haha, I'm not an Abe fan myself, but he did sound really gay. But you're right anyhow. It just didn't feel right to me from the beginning. That kid! He was shit. To many effects not enough depth, and whereas in the first one you kinda felt sorry for the big guy, in this I just didn't care. I liked the German (or whatever) new guy though.

Luke Goss is the only reason I've seen about five films recently.
My eight year old self still loves him! But he always plays parts that involve about a foot of makeup.
Such a waste of a pretty face!

True. I think he was the main baddie in Blade II as well, again plastered in makeup.

Yup.

Mmmmm, twins...

Here is a great article about all the big movie companies fared this summer. I thought some of you might like to read it. I really liked reading it myself.

Interesting. Thanks.

Voiced by Seth McFarlane, creator of Family Guy.
