I know what you mean. But can you imagine how the Beast in The Satan Pit would have looked in the old days?

The beast in the Satan Pit looked, yawn dull.

More dreary, dreary CGI looking cheap.

The one standout monster for me was the devil daddy in Fear Her.

A rubbish episode, but a great monster.

Of course the weeping statues were ace, but it was the acting/script that made that one.

More Jenny Sparrow now! Can't we sell all the other assistants for experiments just to hire Jenny SParrow and that detective for the enxt series.

Oh, sootyj, she's rubbish. Sarah Jane Smith wees all over her.

Actually, she probably did in some fan-fiction. That slash stuff is weird.

Ok Sarah Jane was way better, I even like the Sarah Jane adventures.

And not in a creepy Mrs Robinsons kinda way.

She has aged well, though. And there's no shame in letching after the older woman.

It's perfectly straightforward.

All this guy needs is a handlebar moustache and a leather hat.

Were you sexually intimidated by Bob Hoskins at an early age?

Resists dirty TARDIS/Sarah Jane joke.

And these line-dancing woofters are about as scary as Blazin' Squad.

They're toys, Griff. That's cheating.

My little lad is scared of the modern-day Cybermen. I showed him the new edition of The Five Doctors and he hooted with laughter when he saw the Bacofoil suit Cybermen. Not as much as he laughed at the Raston robot in its silvery condom outfit, mind you.

For someone sees sexual overtones in every fictional character from Tintin to Skippy, I find it very surprising you can't spot a gay Sontaran when you see one.

Why equate gay with non-scary? Seems a bit homophobic Griff. Sometimes gay can be very scary.

When I saw the first photo of the new Cybermen in the Sun, I thought 'that's not full-size, that's a toy', which might have been one of the considerations in the design. The Cybermen were at their best when trying to break in somewhere, i.e the moonbase, the wheel, the Nerva beacon, the bridge in Earthshock. If you want Cybermen at their scariest then listen to the audio adventure Spare Parts, now that is the real stuff.

Sootyj - for someone sees sexual overtones in every children's character from Tintin to Skippy, I find it very surprising you can't spot a gay Sontaran when you see one.

Bandage, the only thing missing from the toy Cybermen is their rainbow flag and Gay Pride banner.

I only see them when they are.

You're pointing the pink figure at Mike out of the Young Ones dressed as Mr Potato Head.

He's not likely to compliment your hair and offer you a redbull and rohypnol any time soon.

And if he does he won't be there in the morning. Heartless bastard but I still forgive him.

Are there any actual gay people on this site? I'm not including Aaron in this. He's just gay for pay, the pay being zooo's indulgence.

Are there any real people on this site? I'm a Trojan virus, with a lousy sense of humour.

I, for one, certainly don't exist, and have no plans to do so, thank goodness.

There have been one or two who actually mentioned it, but they've gone. :(
I'm sure there must be a few who haven't happened to mention it though.

I've never met a gay geek or a gay tramp now I come to think of it. Not that I socialise with a lot of tramps. I think the gay lifestyle is more about going out than staying in.

I wonder if Radio 4 would have me on their 'Thought for a day'

I know some gay geeks!

The cliched gay lifestyle. I'm sure there are a lot of nerdy gays much happier staying home and watching telly than going to the gym or out to a gay nightclub.
