Well I still watch Mock the Week because I like Russell and Hugh the most.

That made me laugh the most.
It was a dig at Andy. He had used a similar gesture to get a laugh after his punchline didn't get the reaction he was hoping for.
Frankie seems to have been given more licence this week. Not sure that is a good idea. His shock humour loses its impact if overexposed. He is best used in small doses and should not really be a regular.

Ohhh. Well that's even better then.

I try to watch but there really are weeks where Frankie makes it too unbearable and unwatchable for me.
Anyone notice Hugh telling the audience to shut up after he got the David Cameron question correct. I think it was to do with their annoying whooping and cheering which this week was even worse than usual!
Frankie is brilliant. Cut Mitchell, no chance, extremely funny. So then Aaron, what did you make of Russell's make your mind up are you going to be Sid James or Enoch Powell joke??? Was thinking very much of you at that point as I know you are a big fan of the two.
I think Hugh is really good, the Car Insurance jokes make me laugh every time. He is still yet to do Showaddywaddy this series, but hopefully will do soon.
Ha. I've been waiting for that too.

It was highly amusing.
Mitchell was still ill-suited to last night's episode.
Just about everyone seemed on fire yesterday, which was nice. Probably the only cause for concern was Frankie, who did seem to want to test just how far he could push. Interesting...

Love that one. His period version (last night) made me laugh more than usual though.
I love frankie, but this episode he sucked.
Some advice for him would be...
1.) no more stupid animal-shagging jokes
2.) stop referencing kestrels
It seems like he's just running out of ideas and is going through the motions of offensive crap. I liked the stuff from him that was offensive, but also witty. Sure I chuckled at the eye contact with the owl thing but it's just trying too hard.
Frankly I think Mock The Week has just about run its course. The comedians are all great, but the format is getting tired.
Run its course, it is in its prime in my opinion. They've got a great lot of comedians now. A lot funnier than the first series with Rory Bremner. The animal shagging joke may have been strange, but call me immature, I nearly died laughing. Ditto the My Hero and The Mary Whitehouse Experience. Ditto 'Let me read the signal from the Victory... Are you Paying too much for your car insurance'.
I still love it just as much as I ever did.
I don't think a show like that can run out of steam really, as long as it keeps getting a few new guests in. (But keeps Frankie for ever and ever and ever.)

I don't think so this format has proven to be VERY popular, look at Never Mind The Buzzcocks, that's been going strong for many many years now ditto Have I Got News For You, they have found a good mix of comedians.
I see Mock The Week being here for a long time yet.
