If you actually read one of his books, you'll find they are less horror and gore, and more psychological anyway.

He's very mixed he belongs to an odd 70s Hammer style of horror.

His later stuff is awful.

But Creed and Fluke are both totally ace and hilarious.

I read it when I was about 17. I remember really getting into it...can't for the life of me remember it.
